Everyone to the Balcony is a 26-minutes program hosted by Olivia de Burhen, as well as plays broadcasted in their entirety by Direct 8.
Theatre is finally reaching to its audience on Direct 8! Two spectators, along with Olivia de Buhren, the TV channel’s culture expert, spend times with the writers and comedians of a play.
The program stays away from the usual critics of journalists and specialized shows, to dissect a play from an audience perspective.
The most beautiful Parisian theaters are used as sets in which two “elected” spectators are interviewing the cast and crew of the play. The same cast and crew gently agree to take part in several funny playlets revolving around the theme of the play.
Humor guaranteed! The cast of the play takes also part in sketches shot in the show’s backstage.
